Specialized certification programs include: Registration open starts for spring 2019 12/05/2018 – The spring semester is one-sheet calendar in Grossmont and Cuyamaca colleges and there is plenty to offer for the new year. Open registration will start on Tuesday, December 4 for the new semester that will begin on January 28 with new courses, first-year programs and more free textbooks used in class. Tuesday is also the first open registration day for the intersessional courses that will be offered from January 2 to 26. The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District has its own winning trio – the winners of the 2018 Chancellor/Classified Senate Award – who were recognized Tuesday night by the Board of Trustees in recognition of their exemplary work. The university is located on a 135-hectare mesa, northwest of El Cajon, next to the cities of Santee, La Mesa and San Diego. The campus is easily accessible from Interstate 8, State Route 125 and State Route 52.
